The Company

LingoLogix was formed in 2002 for the purpose of taking core technology developed at The Mayo Clinic to market. New collaborative development between Johns Hopkins University and LingoLogix began in October 2002. A similar collaborative working relationship was signed with the VA Hospital in March 2003. GoCode was officially launched in the spring of 2006.

Additionally, The Mayo Clinic (an equity partner in LingoLogix, through the Mayo Foundation for Medical Research and Education, a non-profit organization) has long been one of the leading healthcare organizations in advanced medical IT systems integration. Current IT practices at the Mayo Clinic have led to many evidence based discoveries such as the link between certain diet drugs and an uncommon cardiac condition in healthy women, discovered through comparison of clinical data. To advance medical knowledge, clinical technologies must facilitate users’ information needs.

The leadership team and management talent at LingoLogix is extensive. The leadership team is highly educated with advanced degrees from top schools in business, operations research, and medicine – and most of the management team has many years of experience in working with both entrepreneurial ventures, as well as Fortune 500 companies. On average, each leadership team member has over 20 years of management experience, bringing both business savvy and practical know-how to benefit this endeavor.
